Active Category Highlight in Categories Menu - vQmod extension for Opencart

Package contains also a CSS file that you can use to see how it works on the default theme and then customize if needed.

Installation

No files will be overwritten, as this extension uses vQmod - so it is a pre-requisite to have vQmod installed. Tested with vqmod

To install it on the default theme or Sellegance theme:

1. Extract the zip file into a folder of your choice
2. Upload the content of upload directory to your server root
3. copy the stylesheet code from stylesheet_code/oc15_Active_Category_Highlight.css file (or oc15_Active_Category_Highlight_Sellegance.css and paste it at the end of your stylesheet. Customize as you like.

If you are using other theme than default with customized header.tpl file, then you need to

• edit oc15_improved_categories_menu.xml file
• find text
  catalog/view/theme/default/template/common/header.tpl
• replace with
  catalog/view/theme/your-template-name/template/common/header.tpl
